New Hampshire representatives had to walk a gauntlet of homeschoolers this week as hundreds of families demonstrated in Concord in opposition to proposed draconian regulations of home education. (See video)

Today, the New Hampshire House of Representatives resoundingly rejected a draconian homeschool proposal by voting 324–34 to maintain the current law.

This week the New Hampshire House of Representatives plans to vote on whether to strictly regulate homeschooling.

On January 8, Mike Donnelly talked about the importance of homeschoolers responding to prevent one the most restrictive pieces of homeschool legislation from passing the New Hampshire House of Representatives.

Homeschoolers have reason to hope that a years-long effort by some state legislators to impose unnecessary, intrusive regulations has at last been thwarted.
