Science, Geography, and Art Fair
Lynnb — Mon, 02/20/2012 - 8:47pm
Welcome once again to the Science, Geography, and Art Fair!
Anyone homeschooled is welcomed to join us Tuesday, March 13, 2012 to the Science, Geography, and Art Fair! This is open to all ages and grades. Each person will have ½ table to display their work unless you have contacted me for a specific space or table (example: entire class to get a whole table). If you do not have an exhibit, you are still welcome to come and join us and participate in the Scavenger Hunt! Everyone who participates in the SGA Fair will receive a Certificate of Participation at Promotion Night.
Starting at 5:30 – 5:55pm, you will have time to set up and get your exhibit ready. Whichever table you choose to display your exhibit, please note that you will clean your area at the end of the night and put your table away.
At 6pm we will start the fair in the sanctuary with a presentation from Grahm Woerner who will be bringing a discussion on Creation vs. Evolution. He is an inventor with a science background with a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering from MIT. There will be a time for question and answers when he is finished speaking.
This is what the schedule will look like:
Time What is Happening
5:30 – 5:55 PM Set Up Exhibit
6:00 – 6:25 PM Special Speaker (Creationism vs. Evolutionism)
6:30 – 8:00 PM Presentation of Science, Geography or Art projects
8:00 – 8:30 PM Break Down and Clean Up (cleaning up your area and putting away your table.)
***** This is very important. Anyone participating in the event needs to email/private message me with one question dealing with your display. This question will go on the scavenger hunt page given out after our special speaker. Remember that all ages are participating so don’t make the questions too difficult. Make sure the answer can be found on your display board. I need all the questions sent to me by Friday, March 9th. I also need to know what part of the fair you are participating in… art, geography, or science and what your display is about. (ex: Mrs. Abel will be doing Penguins: what is the largest type of penguin? Then write your answer.)
Thank you all for joining us at the SGA Fair. You can send me a private message at LindaA at the First Agape website or email me at Nowilive4Him@Gmail.Com.

Dino Pastor coming to hampton falls Sceince fair - March 2
Lynnb — Wed, 02/15/2012 - 3:15pm
A few Seacoast Homeschool Mom's have planned a fun day of Science and desire to have you join...
The Fair is for ALL ages. We think all ages will enjoy and benefit from it. The Dino Pastor will do a presentation during the Fair with Hands-On items for kids. We will also have another presentation by a professional scientist. We would like any children (perhaps Jr High and up) to have the opportunity to present their project. Young children can label their nature collection such as shells, leaves, or rocks/minerals. This is a chance for your kids to display something they learned this year with diagrams and such. The DinoPastor Family Presentation at 6:30pm will be for the whole family on Creation vs. Evolution.
Friday, March 2nd at Hampton Falls First Baptist Church, Fellowship Hall & Gym
1:00-5:00pm Science Fair, featuring professional presentations by the DinoPastor and adult scientists, as well
as projects on display by local homeschoolers! We also have 5-10 minute time slots available for students to
share their project. If interested in presenting, sign up below.
6:30-8:15pm Dino Pastor Family Presentation
Cost: Free, but there will be an offering accepted for both HFFBC and the DinoPastor
Food: Please bring a snack to share at the Fair. You’re also welcome to bring a picnic dinner or order/take-out
Registrations for the Fair and Dino Pastor are due by Friday, Feb 24th! Please send the information below to
HCHGhomeschool@yahoo.com
