Physics Egg Drop Contest

1. Container no larger than 3" x 3" x 3"

2. Container material no thicker than cardboard box

3. Nothing attached to outside of container

4. Any type of filling

5. Egg must be able to be removed from container during contest

6. Large, raw eggs will be provided

7. Winner is the student whose egg and container drop from the greatest height without cracking the eggshell

8. Contest to be held during class on Thursday, 2/11

9. Lab grade - 10 points for participation

10. Bonus points - 5 points if egg survives 4 ft drop, 10 points if egg survives 8 ft drop, and 15 points if egg survives 2 story drop.

11. Honors formal lab report due Thursday, 2/18
