Hello Class,
Your pillowcases came out beautifully! Great job! Now we’re ready to tackle reading a pattern, and we’ll start with the apron pattern I handed out to you yesterday. You’ll want to purchase your fabrics and “D” rings for class next Tuesday. Jenna and I went to Joann’s yesterday, and the packages of “D” rings actually include enough rings to make two aprons, so if you want to arrange with another girl in the class to split a package it will save you a little. They had some great fabrics to choose from…don’t forget your extra 20% off coupon!
For homework you need to read “Understanding Pattern Markings part 1” in your binder, and don’t forget about the five new vocabulary words for this week. There will be a short quiz on both!
