Grades: This is a full year Pre-Calculus course. Students must have completed Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and Geometry to be ready for this course.
Description: Students will be required to do several pages of homework daily, and take tests at home under the supervision of their parents. The class time will consist of lecture, quizzes and unit tests.
Materials: Textbook: Math-U-See Pre-Calculus by Steve Demme. (www.mathusee.com) You must purchase the complete program with the student manual, teacher manual, and DVD or video. There are older editions of this course called Math-U-See Trigonometry. If you have this course, you may use it. There are several places in the book that are a little bit different, and the new program includes a few more lessons to make it a Pre-Calculus course, but this can be worked with.
