Submitted by gloriah on Tue, 04/01/2008 - 8:07pm.
Tuesdays & Thursdays 2:30-3:30
Spring Semester
Description: Students will develop their test taking strategies and math skills in preparation for the College Board’s new SAT test. Students will learn how to manage their time efficiently through timed test taking scenarios and how to make educated decisions on actual SAT questions. For testing dates and registration information go to www.collegeboard.com. Our focus will be the math section, but if we have time, we’ll cover the critical reading and writing sections.
Pre-requisite: Students should be taking Algebra 2 or higher math.
Text/Materials: The Official SAT Study Guide by College Board (ISBN# 0874477182) and an approved calculator. See page 222 in study guide. (Available at local book stores or www.collegeboard.com or www.christianbook.com)
