Info About Civics and Government
Submitted by JUDEEL on Mon, 06/09/2008 - 2:15pm.
My name is Mrs. Landry and I will be teaching the class of Civic and
Government running Tuesdays 11:15-12:15 Fall and Spring Semesters.
I have E-Mailed everyone individually and expect a response to CONFIRM
your space by E-Mail by June 13th.
There are currently 8 people on the waiting list and it is very common to
have people call throughout the summer for a spot in the class. These
people are aware of the situation.
I have included the name of the text below which can be purchased from
Christianbook.com or 1800CHRISTIAN.
A little about the class: There will be weekly assignments with vocab
included as well as reading and clipping of newspapers at home. There are
6 Unit tests scheduled with (2) 3-6page reports due throughout the year as
well as a memorization piece. I try to make this class very interesting
and interactive. We will try to complete several service projects and hope
to take a field trip or two. I am also hoping to obtain some guest
speakers.
Again Hello and I look forward to hearing from you.
Mrs. Judee Landry
PS There will be a childcare requirement for all parent's...I will send
that out when my final class list is confirmed.

Submitted by TanyaL on Tue, 07/15/2008 - 1:16pm.Hi, My daughter Gabby F. is new to home schooling as of this year (grade 10). We have decided to give First Agape a try as it was referred to us as a great asset. I understand that we are late in signing up for classes but would like to see if there are any openings, just incase.
Would you please get back to me as soon as you are able so that we are able to make plans for this school year. Thank you for understanding our circumstances.
