Introduction to Drums

Submitted by johns on Wed, 08/27/2008 - 8:16pm.

Who doesn’t love drums? One thing better than listening to them is actually playing. In this class I will teach basic rudiments (drum rolls, proper hand position and good posture etc). I will also be talking a bit about the history of drumming and some of the greats that have carved a path through the drum world making their mark in percussion history. This class is targeted for ages 10-13, and is limited to five (5) students. I have been playing drums for 9 years now. About 5 of these years have been with a teacher.

This class will run on Thursdays from 9-10

This is a first semester course. Cost of the course is $20 (for practice pads and sticks).

If you have any questions please contact me any time.

Sincerely-

          John Sundberg
