YearBook
Submitted by CherylS on Tue, 07/31/2007 - 8:00pm.
Yearbook class will be held on Thursdays from 12:20pm to 2:00pm weekly.
Priority will be given to all juniors and seniors. The selection will be based on an interview with student and parent as well as references from past teachers, which we will contact. We will contact you after sign ups to set up an interview for a tuesday during the homeschool group. A lap top in good working order with a CD/DVD drive, a home printer and a digital camera are mandatory for this class. Also expected will be a good attitude, team work and responsibility to follow through on your assignments by deadline dates. We will be creating the entire yearbook from taking pictures to layouts and editing. In addition we may be printing and binding on our own again. It is a tremendous amount of work, the student will need to be disciplined and organized in managing their work and time. Many students have the misconception that yearbook is an easy class and an opportune time for social hour, this is not the case. Work will be priority. Fun, parties and extra socialization are part of class only when and if the class as a whole has shown that they are on schedule with assignments being completed on time. We will be accepting more students this year which should help to give each student less work. It will be challenging , but also rewarding to see the finished product. :) Cheryl Simoneau and Paula Simoneau, will be advising the class. Any questions can be private messaged to CherylS or PaulaS.
