update on Lynn's Brother

beckyw — Wed, 03/10/2010 - 9:41am

James saw the doctors today.  They said that everything was staying in place
just as they wanted.  He has to see the eye doctor next week and then see
the other doctors in two weeks.  Overall, Emily said that he was doing well.
How very thankful we all are for that.

Thank you all!
Lynn Bolser

New England Director of Teenpact will be at First Agape on Thursday, March 11th.

beckyw — Tue, 03/09/2010 - 5:31pm

 Hi Everyone,

Exciting news!!!!    Teenpact is coming to First Agape.

I just wanted to let you know that Paul Martin the New England Teenpact rep will be at First Agape on this Thursday, March 11th..  He will be at First Agape to answer any question you may have about this year’s Teenpact.  He will even be able to sign up on the spot, if you would.

Teenpact is a great opportunity for your child to learn firsthand how the government work.

We are getting a group together so that we can get group rates, too.

first Agape "House Keeping rules"

beckyw — Thu, 03/04/2010 - 9:14pm

 Dear parents,

Lately we have had several boys that are not following our dress code - we are seeing quite a few boxers/underwear.  Please remind your sons that they need to wear a belt or pants that will stay up.  In the future if we see their boxers or other underwear we will provide them with a pair of sweat pants to put on. They can then choose to wear the pants we provide or go home. thank you for your help in this matter.

Also, please remember to clean up any dishes you use (or your children)  in the kitchen before you leave for the day.

thanks

update on Lynn's Brother

beckyw — Thu, 03/04/2010 - 8:54pm

James made it through the surgery - it took a little longer than they planned as they needed to do more work than first anticipated. He is currently still in recovery.  He will have the plates and screws in forever- which I had not realized. It will be a tough few days in recovery as he will be very swollen and bruised but then he should heal and be back to normal. One of the nerves in his cheek had some damage so his cheek is numb and may or may not recover. It could take up to a year. It will be a slow recovery and he has been warned not to go too fast and over due it too soon.
