Welcome once again to the Science, Geography, and Art Fair!
Everyone who homeschools is welcome to join us on Friday, January 2, 2009. This is open to all ages and grades. Each person will have ½ table to display their work.

Please place your order for gift cards in the the next two week if you want them for Christmas. They make wonderful gifts! Come check out the great variety available on Tuesday or Thursday in the gym.
Blessing others at Christmas

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. We wanted to thank all of you again for your spirit of generosity with blessing so many families this Thanksgiving. We have such a wonderful group of people at First Agape. You are all always so willing to give of your time and hearts to others.
As most of you know there are many families in our group who have lost their jobs and are struggling financially. Our family went through this in the past at about this same time of year as well. It was a very uncertain time for us. I remember feeling very humbled and blessed by others generosity to my family. When people were so kind and giving of themselves it helped to encourage us and to lift our spirits.

What a huge blessing to see all the food items brought in! We are able to bless seven families with big boxes. I can tell you each and every familiy was so grateful and thankful for what you gave. What a great group of families we have who are so willing share! Thank you!
May each and everyone of you have a blessed Thanksgiving with your friends and family. Let us not forget the giver who gave us everything we have - Jesus Christ. Without Him our lives would be empty, with Him we have everything.

Prayer request/Food for Families

Just this past week, two of our homeschoolings dads lost their jobs. Others have had their hours cut back and some have been without jobs for months. We know our God is faithful and will supply their needs. However, lets lift our families up in prayer. May they become stronger in their faith and walk with the Lord. Pray this not be a time of stress and discouragement, but a chance to see God's power at work.
We want to bless these families with a food basket. Please bring in a few nonperishable items by this coming Thursday. (Nov. 20th) It's nice to know others care.
